Traditional "Sign in with Google" systems are convenient, but they turn the identity provider into a surveillance hub. They know every app you use and every time you log in. Worse, they have the power to lock you out of your entire digital life.
The PAAVS Identity Roadmap
We are integrating SSI into the core of PAAVS communication:
1. Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs)
Instead of your identity being tied solely to a @paavs.me address, we allow you to link your account to a DID. A DID is a globally unique identifier that you own and control, independent of any registry or provider.
2. Verifiable Credentials
Imagine being able to prove your age, your residency, or your professional credentials without sharing a photo of your ID card. By using Verifiable Credentials, PAAVS users can share "proofs" of their data without revealing the data itself.
3. Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP)
We use ZKPs to verify that you are the rightful owner of an account or a piece of data without our servers ever seeing your private keys or secrets. You remain the sole sovereign of your digital domain.
